A letter from the Director of Education

Dear Classical Concert Series Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in being a part of the Crocker Art Museum’s Classical Concert Series. The museum has proudly offered this series to the people of Sacramento for over 50 years; and with our 2010 expansion we have had more interest than ever from local, national and even international performers.

Our application process requires your application must be submitted between June 1st, 2017 and October 23rd, 2017 to be considered eligible for performances in our July 2018 – June 2019 Classical Concert Series.

Applications submitted after the above stated application window will not be considered. If chosen, performers for the 2018-2019 series will be notified after mid-December of 2017.

The selection process for Classical Concert Series performers is conducted by the Crocker’s Volunteer Classical Music Board, which is composed of a highly diverse and knowledgeable group of musicians, critics, teachers, and music-lovers.

The Classical Concert series takes place monthly, generally on the 2nd Sunday of the month, at the Museum’s Setzer Foundation Auditorium in Sacramento, CA, with seating for up to 260 guests.

We truly hope you will consider applying for our Classical Concert Series by completing the attached application packet. We hope to hear from you soon.

Best,

Stacey Shelnut-Hendrick
Director of Education
